The Studio

The Studio is a self contained apartment attached to Woodbine House but with its own separate access. Located in the North Cotswolds village of Brailes, The Studio is ideally situated for fantastic walks over the beautiful countryside in this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are two contrasting local pubs within 10 minutes walk and Shipston-on-Stour, Stratford-upon-Avon and Stow-on-the-Wold and other market towns within easy reach by car.

Accommodation
The Studio consists of one double bedroom, situated above sitting room, with a downstairs wet room leading off. There is a camp bed available which would be suitable for one child.

Facilities
Tea/coffee facilities, microwave, toaster and fridge.
For a small extra charge, Continental breakfast can be provided from Brailes’ own traditional French Baker or, alternatively a cooked English breakfast is available.

Garden Room
Woodbine House has a traditional English country garden with a Garden Room which guests can use for reading and relaxing. The Orchard beyond leads down to the Hen Brook. The gardens are full of birds, butterflies and other fauna visiting the flowers depending on the time of year. Muntjac and roe deer are common visitors to the orchard.

General
The Studio accommodation is usually provided for one or two adults plus one child (camp bed).
We have 3 of our own dogs and welcome well behaved dogs, by permission only and subject to a supplement.
No smoking is allowed in the Studio or in the immediate environs.
Smoking is permitted in the garden or orchard.

Local Activities
Brailes is a perfect base for walking, with an abundance of public footpaths, and maps are available to borrow • There are many recommended cycle routes locally and bikes can be hired in Stratford or Moreton-in-Marsh • Springfield Barns is 1 mile from The Studio and has an exclusive Health & Fitness Centre

Location
Brailes is in the North Cotswolds, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are two pubs which serve food: The Gate Inn is a traditional pub serving traditional fayre, very good fish and chips to eat in or takeaway; and The George has recently been refurbished and doing delicious good quality food.

Nearby is Shipston-On-Stour, a small market town with a number of traditional pubs and restaurants, a range of shops, from foods to antiques to original paintings to one of the last manufacturers of handmade grandfather clocks in the UK. There are many quaint Cotswold villages nearby. Moreton-In-Marsh rail station is 7 miles with rail links from the Cotswolds to Oxford, London Paddington, Banbury and London Marylebone.
