Shakespeare Holiday Cottages are ideally situated for many local interesting and exciting attractions including the Shakespeare Houses and Gardens, Mary Arden's house is only 1 mile away with the world renowned Royal Shakespeare Company located just 3 miles away in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre.

Popular sightseeing includes guided open top bus tours around the town and boat trips on the river. Golf, horse riding and gliding are all activities available locally. There is a whole wealth of enjoyable scenery and fascinating places to visit.

Close by are many beautiful small villages that surround Shakespeare Holiday Cottages each with their own unique charm and history.

A visit to the historic county town of Warwick should not be missed with its magnificent medieval castle. Kenilworth Castle only a few miles further. There are also many fine gardens and stately homes with National Trust properties including Coughton Court and Charlecote Park which are both within easy driving distance, plus Ragley Hall. There are a number of wonderful walks around the district and superb shopping facilities, including antiques, crafts and market places.

The beautiful Cotswold villages and historic cites of Oxford, Worcester and Coventry are all within easy reach. The National Exhibition Centre, the Symphony Hall and the National Indoor Arena are 40 minutes away by car, as is the National Agricultural Centre and Royal Showground at Stoneleigh with its famous July agricultural fair.
