Irelands Farm Cottages

Irelands Farm is in the middle of a working arable farm, in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, yet within striking distance of the NEC, Birmingham International Airport, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and many other tourist attractions. The cottages are easy to find, just off the A3400, and there is plenty of safe parking adjacent to your cottage.

Accommodation
The self-catering cottages are all thoughtfully decorated and furnished. They are all fully carpeted, and have gas/oil central heating. They are well equipped with microwave, cooker, refrigerator, washing machine, colour television, radio/CD player, electric blankets, duvets and linen. (Please bring your own bath towels, as these will be provided for overseas visitors only.)

About Us
Stephanie and Derek manage the cottage lets with the help of their three children, Samantha (Sam), Michael (Mike) and Jonathan (Jon). Originally the whole farm belonged to Stephanie’s father Colin Shaw. He retired from farming in 1999 and sold most of the farm land, which continues to be farmed by a neighbouring farmer.

The start of the stable and hay loft conversions took place in 1990 with Bulrush and Lily cottage. Hazel and Bramble cottages were developed a couple of years later. The latest two to be included are Laburnum from the milking parlour and Barley from the original farm worker’s cottage with a piece of the hay loft added.

Stephanie also runs a physiotherapy practice from the farmhouse, so be sure to let her know if you are suffering from any ailments!

Irelands farm is truly an island within the Warwickshire countryside. It is an idyllic place to unwind and relax.
