Location
Nearby is the historic County town of Warwickwith its magnificent Castle, a visit is a must. The Castle is open 364 days of the year and there is a program of historic activities of interest to all. Kenilworth Castle is also just a few miles away.
Royal Leamington Spa, with its impressive Georgian buildings along the Parade offers many independent shops not seen in other towns (bring your credit card). There are many restaurants and pubs to suit all comers.
Stratford-upon-Avon is approximately 10 miles away and there are many historic buildings including Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Chapel and Nash’s House. There is also the RSC Theatre together with Guided bus tours, riverside walks and boat trips are always popular with visitors. There are other Shakespeare sites close by including Mary Arden’s House.
The peaceful Cotswolds is just 40 minutes drive away with delightful villages including Broadway, Stow-on-the Wold, Chipping Camden and Burford to name but a few.
There are fine gardens and National Trust properties including Coughton Court and Charlecote Park nearby. There are also many local inns, pubs and restaurants that offer meals to a high standard to suit all tastes.
Birmingham, the NEC, the Symphony Hall, and NIA are about 40 minutes drive away. The National Agricultural Centre and Royal Showground at Stoneleigh are 15 minutes drive away, and the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre is just 200 yards.
