Description
Situated in fields on the northern edge of the Cotswolds is Blackwell Grange, a 17th century farm house, as its low beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors and deep set windows testify. It is still a farm with a flock of pedigree sheep, and free ranging Wyandotte bantams to provide eggs for our real English breakfast.
The area is one of outstanding natural beauty, dotted with golden-stoned Cotswold villages: Snowshill, Chipping Campden, the Swells and Slaughters to name but a few. You can leave cars behind to walk the “Centenary Way”, Stanton, Stanway and Broadway Tower or roam the bridleways: bring your own horse if you like; we do B & B for horses too!
Within an hour are all sorts of other attractions: Stratford-upon-Avon; Warwick; National Trust gardens at Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court, Upton House; Batsford Arboretum; golf at “The Belfry”; the National Exhibition Centre; and much more.
