Mousley House Farm

Mousley House Farm dates from 1780 and is set in 65 acres of undulating Warwickshire countryside about 5 miles north of Warwick Town.

The Barns
We have residential barns to let onsite of varying sizes from one to four bedrooms. The barns are let unfurnished on minimum 6 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements. Tenants may make use of onsite equestrian facilities on the farm by separate arrangement. These include stabling and grazing, a horsewalker, an all weather floodlit arena and professional XC training fences. Well behaved pets are welcome.

Big Barn: The property is very adaptable and could be used as either 2 bedroom or 4 bedroom. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and a further 2 rooms downstairs that can be used as extra bedrooms with a shower room opposite to service them. There is a private enclosed courtyard with patio and parking area and blue brick steps up to the front door. The front door opens into the large open plan sitting room which is to the right and the large dining area to the left.

Idlewood Barn: This large roomed barn has two bedrooms and can be re-connected to Idlewood Flat to make a four bedroom property if required. It is approached either across the courtyard or from the back door on the other side buildings. There are French windows leading out onto the south facing patio from the kitchen the sitting room and the study.

Stable Barn: Stable Barn was converted some 6 years ago and is filled with original beams. The 1 bedroom property is approached through wooden gates across the enclosed patio area.

Idlewood Barn Flat: This is a two bedroom property that can be re-connected to Idlewood Barn to become a four bedroom property is required. It overlooks the central courtyard with a separate fenced patio area.

Hay Barn: This one double bedroom property is a one up/one down and the property is entered through the original oak barn door, that leads directly into the sitting room.

Equestrian Facilities
We are situated in a very densely equestrian populated area with competition venues at Solihull Riding Club, Swallowfields and Lowlands Farm within easy reach. Dallas Burston Polo Fields and the Rugby Polo fields are close by. Local suppliers for hay, bedding and feed deliver to the farm on a regular basis. Plenty of bridleways & footpaths enable riders and walkers to enjoy a variety of circular routes, some with pub stops en route. If western riding is your interest, then we do that here, with clinics and events held at Solihull Riding Club.

We offer all options of livery at the farm from full livery to grass keep. Livery is offered to tenants of the residential barns. We have recently installed a horsewalker and have a 40m x 20m floodlit all-weather arena.

Location
M42, M40, M1, M6 and M5 give access to such venues as the NIA, NEC and Royal Showground at Stoneleigh. Local airports are Birmingham International, Coventry and Nottingham (East Midlands) and countrywide rail links from Birmingham International Railway Station, Warwick Parkway & other local stations. London is less than a 2 hour drive.
