The spas and health & fitness clubs in Warwickshire essentially fall onto three categories:

Health spas which are generally at the luxury end of the market and may have a range of facilities and treatments, including:

Fitness clubs and gymnasia which are essentially for working out, toning up, getting fit or building muscles. They range from luxurious, built-for-purpose to basic industrial units.
I used to go to a gym which was a series of prefabricated domestic garages knocked together, and that was considered a bit fancy for real men. The xeroxed diet sheet, which was handed out when you joined, began: 'Breakfast: 12 rashers of streaky bacon....' I'm sure that things have changed a bit since then.
Many of the clubs will have additional facilities, such as:

Health and fitness classes, which are often arranged in community facilities such as schools, church halls and village halls. The classes will range from general 'Keep Fit' through to yoga, pilates and other specialist regimens.

Before booking anything, be sure to check exactly what type of facility you are arranging to visit. There is nothing worse than looking forward to a detoxifying dead-sea wrap or exfoliating seaweed facial and then finding yourself hijacked into a bums + tums fitness class, trying to keep up with a toned and honed blonde who is zipping up and down a plastic step to some frantic 'pop' song you'd never heard before but now can't stop humming. For 40 minutes. Non-stop.
