Greek Restaurants in Warwickshire

Like seafood restaurants, there is a distinct dearth of Greek Restaurants in Warwickshire. Dearth in as much as there is only one. But it's a good one, so make the trek to Southam, if only to sample the meze.

If Greek food is really your thing, you are in luck because the Tarsus is also an hotel, so you can stay there as well as eat there.

There is a choice of menus - 'A la carte', 'Meze' & 'Chef Special'. The 'A la carte' menu has a range of Greek and Turkish dishes but for the less adventurous there is also a good choice of international dishes, including a separate steak section. The Meze contains 19 different dishes which they describe as suitable for any adventurous palate with an urge for excitement. The 'Chef Special' offers a meze starter with a selection of Greek main courses. This is probably a good choice if you want to be a bit adventurous but are not quite ready to go the whole Tsamiko.

Much as I like Greek and Turkish food, I would offer a word of caution about trying genuine Greek coffee, which is small, very strong and very sweet - only for true aficionados.

Once again a comprehensive, though anything but extensive, eating out guide to Greek Restaurants in Warwickshire
