Hotels in Baginton
Baginton is a small village on the borders of Warwickshire and Coventry. It has good road access links from the A46 and A45 trunk roads, linking to the M69, M45, M6, M40 and M1.
On the outskirts of the village is the Midlands Air Museum (on the perimeter of Coventry Airport) and 'The Lunt', a reconstructed Roman Fort. Both are well worth a visit.
The Chinese takeaway used to be really good but I haven't been there for a few years and so don't take my word for it. If anyone can tell me what the attached building is all about, I would be very pleased to hear. It looks like a pre-war radio shop, and it appears to have been left derelict for at least the last 20 years. The Marie Celeste of radio valves perhaps. There is a village store and post office. The man who used to run it was so miserable all the local kids used to call him Mr Grumpy (a Mr Men reference).
