Hotels in Berkswell

Berkswell is a small village situated between Coventry and Solihull. It gets its name from a 16-feet deep, stone-walled well just outside the churchyard of the 12th century Church of St John the Baptist. It has produced a number of famous people for such a small village: the 'Sherlock Holmes' actor, Jeremy Brett; Maud Watson, the first Ladies Singles Champion at Wimbledon; and Bob Wyatt, England Cricket Captain for a number of years from 1934.

One of the principal hotels in Berkswell is Nailcote Hall Hotel, Golf & Leisure Club, a 17th century country house set in 15 acres and with a leisure club and championship par 3 golf course.

The hotel offers: 40 bedrooms, all individually furnished to a high standard; the intimate Tudor "Oak Room" or the spectacular street side style of Rick's Garden Café & Bar, with a regular programme of live entertainment; championship 9 hole par 3 golf course and Mark Mouland golf academy; luxury leisure and country Club with 14 metre swimming pool; 1km jogging track; 2 all-weather tennis courts; croquet and petanque facilities; conference facilities for from 2-180 delegates; and wedding receptions.

There are no other hotels in Berkswell but there are a number of inns, guest houses, and bed & breakfasts, so check out our other accommodation pages.
